Student Spotlight 7th Grader Shannon Fernandes Last quarter during HTMS’ first nine weeks, my friend, Shannon Fernandes, accomplished a three-point, buzzer beater in P.E.!! I am Apolonia Ketty, and I would like to share that even though Shannon doesn’t often make many shots like that, on that day, when Coach Z blew the whistle for class to be over, Shannon had made her first three-pointer, and it was very exciting for all of us! Congratulations Shannon on such an amazing shot!
Student Spotlight 6th Grader Katelynn TylerHi, I am June Davis. I am choosing Katelynn Tyler for student spotlight. She is smart, athletic, and a great leader. Katelynn was elected student council president for the 6 th graders. She is a hard worker and after school she doesn't stop in her pursuit of accomplishments. She is the team leader of her basketball team, Peak Performance. That’s why I am choosing Katelynn Tyler for our student spotlight.
