Lile, a board - certified wills, trusts and estates attorney in Naples , has been appoint ed to serve as t he only practicing att orney on the Florida Supre me Court Florida Courts Technol ogy Commission ’ s W orkgroup on Assessing Lega l Financial Obligations. The workgroup was established as a result of a report to the Florida Supreme Court by the Judicial Management Council’s Workgro up on Court Costs and Fines . Lile was a ppointed to both the Florida Courts Technology Commi ssion and the Judicial M anagement Council by the Chief Justi ce of the Florida S upreme Court. The Workgroup on Assessing Legal Financial Obligations has been tasked b y C hief Justice Charles Canady to work with the state ’ s elect ed Clerks of Court to develop an electr onic system to assi st in the assessment of legal financial obligations. Other members of the workgroup include judges , trial court administ rators, clerks , c hie f technology office rs, and clerk techs. Lile is a p ast state chair and a Fellow in The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He is one of two governors elected to the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar, represent ing the 20th Judicial Circui t, wh ich includes Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Hendry and Gl ades counties. Lile’s eighth term conclude s in June 2022 . Lile currently is servin g a s econd term on the Florida Supreme Court’s Judicial Management Council and a third term on the Florida Courts Tech no log y Commission. He is past chair of the Second Dis tri ct Court of Appeal Nominating Commission. Recently recognized for the third consecutive year as a Top 10 Florida Super Lawyer, Lile has been named three times as one of Florida Trend ’s 500 Most Influe nt ial Business Leaders in Florida. In June 2018, Lile wa s selected by Chief Judge McHugh to serve as Clerk of Court ad Interim for Collier County.
