CALIBRATION OF WEIGHTSIt is unanimously used for the calibration of weights i.e it is a standard set of weights.Each box is having its own pattern may be as follows5-2-2-2-1,or 5--2-2-1, or 5-2-1 it may follow any one pattern i.e the weight box contain these weights in a proper place as followsSaples weight box is a standars weight box.
3. CONTINUEDFirst set follows 500 mg, 200mg, 200mg, 200mg,100mg & 5mg, 20mg , 20mg, 20mg, 10 mg & 5mg, 2mg, 2mg, 2mg, 1mg this will be the pattern For the first set of weight box,same way for the second & third set of weight boxes
4. continuedEach weight boxes are provided with the special cavities for the fixed weights .So after every use they must be placed in that cavities only without failSo that there will be no chance of the introduction of error by the wrong use of weights.To lift these weights there is forcep provided, so always make it habit to use the forcep for lifting these weights,and in any case dont touch the weights by mere hands,as this habit may introduce error in the weighing process.
5. continuedCalibration procedure is carried out with saples weight box.Saples weight box is a standard set of weights placed in a proper place,& can be used to calibrate the other set of weights.While calibrating the weights the saples weights are placed in right hand side pan & the weights to be calibrated are placed in left hand side pan.The arrest knob is rotated to see the fluctuations of the pointer & from that fluctuations the necessity of the neede weight is understood.
6. continuedThen the added weight of rider or proper weight from the saples weight box is recorded and noted down for that particular weight.In this way the each weight from the box is calibrated & noted down the correct weight of all the weight provided in the weight box.Then onwards these weights are used as rectified weight for the perfect weighing of the object or the container or the substance.This calibration procedure is to be repeated periodically to verify the accuracy .
