China emits 6,018 tons of greenhouse gases a year. Huge amounts of goods are produced here, so that comes as no surprise at all. China’s population is 1,324,655,000 , the largest, so they also consume a large amount of fossil fuels. Slide4
2-The US! NO!
The US emits 5,833 million tons of greenhouse gases each year. We have one of the largest meat industries and the oil industries consume 8,690,000 barrels of oil per day, which is more than any other country. The population is more than 310,383,440, which means we consume even more. Slide5
3-Russia
They emit 1,704 million tons of carbon dioxide each year. Their population is only 141,950,000, however they manage to waste a lot. They claim to cut back 25%, however they now what to deplete the Arctic's vast amount of oil and create oil plants in the Arctic Ocean. Slide6
4-India
The second biggest population in the word. Therefore, they emit 1,293 million tons of carbon dioxide. India is slowly becoming extremely industrialized, buming the carbon dioxide emissions up and up. Slide7
5-Japan
Japan emits 1,247 million tons of carbon dioxide annually. They too want to cut the emissions by 25%. The main contributors are urbanisation, industrialisation and transportation. The Japanese Environment Agency is trying desperately to reduce the car emissions, by adding regulations for automobile gas. Slide8
