Why divest Fossil Fuel stocks?
Fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) produce Carbon Dioxide, which is causing Global Warming and Climate Change.
To reduce the long term damage we need to stop using these fuels, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, and switch to RENEWABLESSlide5
Does this mean losing part of my nest-egg?
Actually divestment will safeguard your nest egg. Fossil fuel stock prices are based on extracting and burning everything possible. They have identified MANY TIMES more than can be burned without causing catastrophic long-term changes. We need to KEEP 70% IN THE GROUND!Slide6
What is the ‘Carbon Bubble’?
