. This is a significant event in Australian history that saw Australian and New Zealand troops land on the impossible beach of Turkey. Although unsuccessful, this moment is celebrated in history as a landmark of Australian courage and persistence.

It has created the ANZAC legacy that Australia holds monumental, and is celebrated every year. Also the immediate impact on Australian families with the large death tolls saw many loved one not return. Slide18
