Circle Baseball – get everyone involved

Cone out a circle with a 20y diameter

Place 5 cones (bases) around the edge of the circle

Teacher (T) stands on the edge of the circle and acts as the pitcher

The batter stands in the middle of the circle in between the cones

All other players stand in the outfield as catchersSlide2

How to play

Each team takes turns to bat one player at a time (R, B, G, R, B, G, R, B, G)

When your color is batting you take a knee and do not field

Once hit the batter must run to the edge of the circle and start running the bases

A run is scored when the player makes a full circle

A player must stop running when the ball is caught, or when the fielder has possession and calls “FIELD”

If a player is not on a base when the ball is caught or fielded, they are out and return to the outfield

No one is ever really out as they can return to bat during the 10

minute inning

If the ball does not cross the circle line, the player moves to first base, no other runners on bases may moveSlide3
