Dual Credits Programs
Dual Credit Courses…
are for Grade 11 & 12 studentsallow students while they are still in high school, to take college or apprenticeship courses which count towards both the high school diploma (OSSD) and a postsecondary certificate, diploma, or degree, or apprenticeship certification.Students usually earn one or more (up to four) optional credits through college-delivered courses.Slide7

Apprenticeship is hands-on training for people who enjoy "learning by doing”
90 per cent of apprenticeship training occurs at the workplace with 10% in a classroom setting at a local community college/approved training facilityEveryone benefits from apprenticeship training. Employers gain increasingly skilled workers who help keep their business competitive. Apprentices receive training while they earn a wage
