The Words find Each Other
This is an old activity with a slightly new spin.
Each person is going to receive ONE piece of paper with one of the following:
A vocabulary word
A picture
A definition
You should look at what you have and try to match your word, picture or definition with the other people.
Once you think you’ve found your partners, find your word’s example sentence on the wall.
Put your words down on the desk next to that sentence.
After everyone has finished, you’ll leave your words in your place and spend 5 minutes at each ‘word station’ completing your vocabulary sheet. Slide6
