California City High School 20152016 Teacher Mrs Maysha Dawson Website MrsDawsonclassroomcom Room 203 Email mayshadawsonmojavek12caus Course Description The aim of this course is to help students build an understanding of modern chemistry Throughout the year students will be involved in problemsolving activities on an individual small group and large group basis Through this process the ability to read and understand problems break them down into their component parts and then create and present solutions will be developed The course is both quantitative and qualitative in nature so mathematics will often be applied to the solving of problems These same skills will be developed with activities in the chemistry laboratory In that case problem solving will be done in real time with handson problems Through this process both analytical techniques as well as technological capability will be developed . Many critiques but not many yet about the syllabus. . . It . involves a chemical reaction run in a continuous flow stream. The process offers potential for the efficient manufacture of chemical products. . . Recent . breakthroughs using Vapourtec systems are in production of . Fundamentals of Organic Chemistry. Physical Effects, Electronic Displacements: Inductive Effect, . Electromeric. Effect, Resonance and Hyperconjugation. Cleavage of Bonds: Homolysis and Heterolysis. . SCOPE OF CONTENT OF MOE/GES CHEMISTRY SYLLABUS. THE . SCOPE OF THE SYLLABUS IS TO OFFER CHEMISTRY REQUIRED TO PROMOTE . AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE CHEMICAL PROCESSES TAKING PLACE ALL AROUND US.. SHS1. STEP 1: ADD DUE DATES. Set Due Dates for Assignments, Discussions, and quizzes if you have them. . Discussion Due dates must be entered in Content – this guide will show you how to enter due dates. .
