We at West Niagara Animal Hospital are proud to say we do not offer declaw surgeries Declawing or properly called onychectomy involves the amputation of each toe at the first bone This is equival. Once the toe has been amputated the skin is closed with surgical adhesive and bandages are applied for the first 24 hours When done effectively onychectomy will eliminate the ability of the cat to produce claws on the front paws Without hisher claws SHOULD I DECLAW MY CAT?cat
