This upgrade is part of the same federal initiative that resulted in upgrades to the internet home-banking system last year, and is being implemented in response to the increasing number of attempted attacks on electronic nancial systems. Our goal, as always, is to take advantage of the latest technology and best practices to protect our members’ information. The tele - phone teller upgrade will eventu - ally require users to enter two (2) PIN codes in addition their account number. There is no change to your existing PIN code. Between mid-April and June, however, members will hear an additional prompt that will allow them to establish a second PIN in advance. Once you have created the second PIN, you can begin to use the dual- PIN authentication at any time. Beginning June 1, members will be required to use both PIN codes (your existing PIN plus the new PIN you will create) in addition to your account number in order to access telephone teller.
