Goals of thmentored research grant program are to supportthe pilot translational, and bench research directions andenablingjunior investigatorsto obtain future independent funding for research focused on female pelvic medicine O n going Activities Committee Charges Strategies The committee undertake s the following activities: Oversight and administration of the nnual call forresearchgrant proposalsCoordination and oversight of the research grant proposal review process Serve as an advisory group for AUGS to the federal and privte funding agencies ’ program off icers e ngaged in developi ng RFAs, upon request . Expected Commitment The committee meets at least quarterly v ia conference cal l and in person during the nuacientific MeetingIn addition, thecommitteoversees two research grant review calls typically heleachSpring. Additionalcommittee calls may be necessary throughout the year as needed to fulfill the committee charges Committee membersare expected to review all agenda/merials prior to each eeting, attendthe onference calls as schedule, and attend the inpersonmeeting held during the Annual S cientific Meeting. Committee Composition The PFD Research Fo undatio n Grant s Committee is comp rised of a Chair, Vice Chair, an d 4 additional membThe grant reviewers do not serve on the committee butsupport the committs work during the annual research grant proposal review process. Members shouldhave experiencwith, or interest in, clinical and/or labased search. It is recommendedthe committee is balanced acrossclinical and lab based research, incl uding a balance between the Chair and Vice Ch air . Committee Terms All
