1. Anti viral Drugs 2DIDANOSINEIDOXURIDINE triflorideGANCICLOVIR .

2. 1. DIDANOSINE (DDI)Nomenclature:9-(5-(hydroxy methyl)tetrahydrofuran-2-yl)-3H-purin-6(9H)-oneDidanosine is a purine 2',3'-dideoxyribonucleoside that is inosine in which the hydroxy groups at both the 2' and the 3' positions on the sugar moiety have been replaced by hydrogen. An antiviral drug, it is used as a medication to treat HIV/AIDS.MOA: ddI is phosphorylated to the active metabolite of di-deoxy-adenosine triphosphate, ddATP, by cellular enzymes. Like other anti-HIV nucleoside analogs, it acts as a chain terminator by incorporation and inhibits viral reverse transcriptase by competing with natural dATP.

3. 2. IDOXURIDINE trifloride IUPAC name. 1-[4-hydroxy-5-(hydroxy methyl)oxolan-2-yl]-5-iodo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine-2,4-dioneMOA: by inhibiting viral replication by substituting itself for thymidine in viral DNA. This in turn inhibits thymidylate phosphorylase and viral DNA polymerases

4. 3. Ganciclovir (CYTOVENE-IV)IUPAC: 2-Amino-9-(1,3-dihydroxypropan-2-yloxymethyl)-3H-purin-6-one Ganciclovir is an oxopurine that is guanine substituted by a [(1,3-dihydroxypropan-2-yl)oxy]methyl group at position 9. Ganciclovir is an antiviral drug used to treat or prevent AIDS-related cytomegalovirus infections. It has a role as an antiviral drug and an antiinfective agent.
