Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Instituteerms and Conditions of Application and EnrollmentApplications for diploma and certificate program courses must be accompaniedby: Academic and Administrative Policy andProcedures ManualA copy of the Academic and Administrative Policy and Procedures Manual canbe found on our website http://www.lcbottawa.com/Files/COADEN1574.PDF A student’s agreement with this policy is implicit in his/her application forenrollment at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute.Terms and Conditions of PaymentAll certificate programand courses require a nonrefundable application fee atregistration for each course.All diploma package applications must include a nonrefundableapplication feeThe balance of tuition must be paid 6 weeks before the course start date.Please note that a seat in a course wilnot be reserved for a student unless theInstitute receives the required application fee for that course.All courses have limited enrollment.All other courses require payment in full at registration, unless indicated.The application form must accompany yourregistration, along with any application fee required.All fees are quoted in Canadian dollars, unless indicated.Fees are payable in either Canadian or U.S. funds (U.S. funds are subjectto current exchange rates).ORDON LEUttawa Culinary Arts Institute reserves the right toincrease tuition fees without notice. Refunds/Cancellations/DefermentsShould a student cancel his/her registration with written notice a minimum of 6weeks prior to the course start date, then the Institute will refund all fees paid lessthe nonrefundable applicationfees towards the immediate course(s).Should a student cancel his/her registration with written notice less than 6weeks prior to the course start date, then any fees paid towards theimmediate course(s) are nonrefundable. All fees paid towards futurecourses will be refunded, less the nonrefundable applicationfee.b.No refund will be issued if a student fails to attend or fails to complete thecourse(s).Should a student wish to defer his/her registration in a course(s), then the Instituterequires written notice a minimum of 6 weeks prior to the course start date.Students may defer registration once without penalty; subsequent deferralswill be subject to a $50 administration fee.b.The maximum length of deferment is one year from the originallyrequested entry date.Students failing to provide adequate notice of deferment will be subject tothe cancellation policies outlined above and will be required to resubmitthe appropriate amount required for enrollment.The administration reserves the right to cancel or modify courses at any time.In the event the Institute cancels a course, anyapplication fee or tuitionfees paid will be refunded in full, or transferred to another course selectedby the student.b.Any fees paid by a student whose application is rejected by the Institutewill be refunded.Waiting ListDue to high demand, theInstitute reserves the right to place students on a waitinglist, even if they have already registered in other courses.Places will not be held unless applications are complete, including theapplication fees.
