My way or the highway.

You are entitled to your own opinion.Slide10

Plagiarism

It’s illegal and against school rules. But…

What is it?

The act of presenting another person’s ideas or work as your own.Slide12

How to Avoid Plagiarism (and going to jail, getting suspended, and other terrible incidents)…

Cite your work.

Don’t copy and paste.

Give credit where credit is due.

If you use something from a previous class, ask BOTH teachers if this is okay, or else you could be plagiarizing yourself!

Better safe than sorry…Slide13

Paraphrasing
