Their children are being “deprived of scholarships because of the sectarian oppression that they are subjected to by authorities .” The organization added that “scholarship distribution is one of th e issues in which Bahraini people are suffering from an obnoxious sectarian oppression that works to fight against ambition and hope.” Al - Wefaq explained that students with scores higher than 98% were deprived from scholarships, while others did not get the ir desired majors, because of the sectarian oppression that governs life in Bahrain. Al - Wefaq confirmed that the “ continuation of the appointed government , lack of accountability, and ongoing unilateral governance subjects the distribution of scholarships, employm ent services, and other aspects of life to sectarian oppression and discrimination , which is a crime against this nation. ”
