Advanced Placement, or AP courses are college-level courses taken at the high school level. If a student is successful on an AP test, he or she can earn college credit in addition to high school credit.
Dual credit classes can be taken through ACC or UT on campus to earn high school and college credit simultaneously.

and 10

grade level are designed to prepare students for the rigorous curriculum in the 11

and 12

All Incoming 9th Graders will be required to turn in a Course Contract to their Middle School Counselors and complete an Endorsement Verification in the Student Cloud. At that point, parents will be given an opportunity to approve it in the Parent Cloud.

Through AISD’s Student Sharing Program, Bowie students are able to take elective courses at other AISD schools.Purpose: To allow students an opportunity to take elective courses and participate in career pathways not offered at home campus.
Course Enrollment will be subject to availability.
At this time, Student Sharing courses are scheduled on A-Days during the 1

period.
AISD will provide bus transportation to/from home campus or families can provide their own.

The cost for camp is $30 per student.
