Forty years in any business or personal venture is quite an accomplishment, and 2011 saw NITAsuccess. Having been involved with this organization for most of those 40 years it gives me great pride to see how far it has come. NITA attended in 1975. n 2011 we ran 216 NITA program, public service attorneys trained side-by-side with attorneys from private practice. or. wenty-nine such public service and co-sponsored programs ran in 2011.NITA2011 and our faculty trained nearly 1700 attorneys

NITA Foundation, established in 2003, generated $158,574 in donations in 2011 NITAhat’s a lot of work in what is supposed to be a fun anniversary year so NITAway to thank the NITA community for all they have contributed over forty years we held anniversary celebrations across the country, NITAhe celebrations in Denver, ew York City, San Francisco and Chicago each had a large group of NITANITAational Session. Having the program back in Boulder, as it was 40 years ago, made NITAthe organization’s history.(see page 20) t’s true that teaching the art of advocacy for 40 years is quite an accomplishment for NITANITA
