Rota patterns provided by SNOW do not seem to fulfill your flexibility requirements

Weekly based repetitions with same patterns

Manual modifications are allowed although quite tedious

Besides the points previously mentioned the following requirements discard the current

rota

infrastructure:

SNOW assumes an unrelated or (at last) vertical behavior for the calendars setupRota calendar definition per support groupSNOW provides finer granularity (difficult approach for IT groups providing same set of persons as supporters for different FEs)IT groups require a horizontal behavior: “Same calendar for different support groups at same level and across different FEs in the same organic IT group”Each IT group holds several FEsSupport persons at the same support level will be likely the same for all of themYour feedbackOn-call facility meeting CERN 07/07/2011 -3-
