At a village: “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
They were 10 lepers … with skin disease – they had to live separately from everyone else!
Jesus loved them: “Go, show yourselves to the priests”
WHY?
To be declared “CLEAN” and return to their families
WHO ARE THESE MEN?Slide3
On the way, they were healed … their skin went back to normal!
They were soooooo happy!
The 10 lepers believed in Jesus!
They went & showed themselves to the priestsSlide4
BUT …
Most of them did not do a very important thing: THANK GOD!
EXCEPT… ONE!
1 came back, knelt at Jesus’ feet and said: “THANK YOU”!

The 9 lepers went away without thanking God
Jesus was very sad, but was very happy with the one leperThe man was a Samaritan, other 9 were Jews (Jews & Samaritans were enemies)“Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”Slide6
WHAT A BLESSING!
This man was healed from leprosy AND have his sins
forgiven
Whoever thanks God, will enjoy His love & mercy even more!

WHY THE 9 LEPERS
DIDN’T THANK GOD …May be they think that because Jesus is God, He knows they are thankful – they don’t need to say it
They made excuses: Jesus only told us to go to the priests and nothing else
They have to share the good news with so many others, they will thank God later

DON’T YOU BE LIKE THEM!
Run back to God to thank Him right away!Don’t make any excuses
God has many more blessings for you
