Can my author participate in an Autographing Area Program if we are not exhibiting at BEA? Yes, we are accepting registrations for non-BEA exhibitors. The fee is $500 per author. Please contact Beth Oliveras, Autographing Director, directly if you are a non-exhibitor. 4.We strongly suggest working with other members on your team to determine the best package choice for you. For publishers that plan to submit 5 or more authors, purchasing a table for a day is a great option. You can schedule up to 10 authors for that day, the table is yours and you set the schedule. 5.You cannot choose your day and time but you are allowed to enter your preferences when you submit your application. If you have any special requests or requirements additionally, you will have a place to enter that information as well. The BEA team will do the best we can to accommodate everyone.6.I am an author, can I register directly? No. All registrations must be completed by the publisher. We do not accept registrations directly from the authors. 7.Once you’ve completed the registration process, you will receive a conrmation and various communications from Beth Oliveras in the late winter / early spring about shipping your books, etc. You will have the ability to log back into the site up until the deadline of Friday, March 21, 2014 and make any changes necessary (book title change, author name change, etc). The nal Autographing Area schedule will be posted late April.8.I am registering multiple authors, how do I do this? If you are not renting the table for a day, you will need to register each author one by one.9.No. The BEA Autographing Area is not a selling event. We suggest you ship 125 books for a 30 minute signing and 250 books for a 60 minute signing. The books will be autographed by your author and given out for free to the attendees that wait in line. If I register an author for the Autographing Program, does that mean that they are registered for the Show? No. BEA Show Badges are required for admittance to BEA and are obtained through your exhibit booth. The Autographing Area does not supply badges and authors will not be allowed onto the Show Floor without a badge so please work through your booth representative for this.
