CMG is a global company, with our head office and manufacturing sites in the UK. We have sales offices in the USA and Australia and sales in another 52 countries. We design, develop and manufacture engineered solutions for the protection of critical power and data cables in the most demanding environments. We draw on over 60 years experience of working with metallic and non metallic conduit systems for rail, OEM machinery, construction and hazardous (Ex zone) markets. We provide easy to use, cost effective, high performance, durable and reliable cable protection systems developed to meet our customers specific requirements.

OUR CAPABILITYSlide4

WHO WE ARE

CMG’s history can be traced back to 1923 with the Elkay product range.

Now a global business, employing nearly 200 people across three continents.

Our brands have recognition around the world.

Kopex brand formed in 1947 - conduit systems for hazardous area markets.

Adaptaflex brand was formed in 1974 – conduit systems designed for rail,

OEM and construction markets.

Harnessflex brand 1994 – conduit and backshell systems protecting wiring

and connectors controlling emissions on off high way vehicles and engines.

Elkay brand – a range of switches and controls for energy management.Slide5

WHAT WE DO

We manufacture a comprehensive range of highly engineered components

and conduit systems.

At our principal manufacturing site in Coleshill, Birmingham, we have 6,500 sq

metres of production facilities.

We produce over 14 million metres of conduit and 4 million turned metal parts.

At our 3,500 sq metre injection moulding manufacturing plant in Newtown,

Mid-Wales, we produce over 40 million moulded parts per annum.

Our core focus across the business is based around successfully meeting and

exceeding customers’ requirements.Slide6

Third Party Testing & Approvals

IEC61386 Performance Classification Standard

We were the first major conduit manufacturer to achieve third party accreditation to the EN50086/IEC 61386 Standard from the British Standards Institution (BSI).

IEC61386 conformance guarantees that our products meet performance specifications for fatigue life, operating temperature, non-flame propagation and IP ratings amongst other criteria. IEC61386 fully replaced EN50086 in 2005.

BSI Kitemark

We are the only major conduit manufacturer to achieve third party accreditation through the BSI Kitemark scheme.   Slide11

BRANDS YOU CAN TRUST

ISO9001 Quality Standard

We conform to ISO 9001:2000, the internationally recognised standard for Quality Management Systems. This standard reflects the procedures and management processes throughout the whole of the company.

BS EN ISO14001 Environmental Standard

Controlling the impact of manufacturing activities on the environment is a major challenge. Again we lead the way by being the first conduit manufacturer to comply with this Standard. Slide12
