Grade 8 Do you know what a complete sentence is A SENTENCE is made up of one or more words that express a complete thought A sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with a period question mark or exclamation point. What Is a Complete Sentence?. Complete sentences have at least a subject and a verb. The subject is the actor of the sentence and the verb is what the subject does.. Example: My cat eats.. “My cat” is the subject. The verb is “eats.”. Matthew 25:1-13. The Parables of Jesus.
