Troubleshooting ¥ Did you run the desiccator for 24 to 48 hours with the door shut before first use? ¥ Did you run the desiccator for 24 to 48 hours with the door shut before first use?¥ The desiccant absorbs moisture from items that are drying in the desiccator. Odorsfrom the moisture are released when the drying unit regenerates the desiccant.This should clear up in 1 to 2 day. If it does not, call for service. 7. Accessoriesfor OAKTON Dry 10 desiccator 8. WarrantyOAKTONwarrants this desiccator to be free from significant deviations in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from date of purchase. If repair or adjustment is necessary and has not been the result of abuse or misuse within the warrantied time period, please returnÑfreight prepaidÑand correction will be made without charge. OAKTON alone will determine if the product problem Out-of-warranty products will be repaired on a charge basis. Authorization must be obtained from our Customer Service Department beforereturning items for any reason. When applying for authorization, please includedata regarding the reason the items are to be returned. For your protection, itemsmust be carefully packed to prevent damage in shipment and insured against possi-ble damage or loss. We will not be responsible for damage resulting from careless orinsufficient packing.
