NO, NOT AT ALL” ve “NOT REALLY” ifadeleri bir kişinin meşgul olmadığını ifade etmek için kullandığı cümlelerdir ve “Are you busy …?, Are you doing anything …?, DO YOU HAVE ANY PLAN?” soru kalıplarına cevap olarak kullanılırlar.   NOTHING SPECIAL ” ve “ I AM NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING” ifadeleri “WHAT ARE YOU DOING…?, WHAT IS YOUR PLAN…?” gibi sorulara cevap olarak kullanılır ve yine herhangi bir planı, önemli bir işi olmadığını, meşgul olmadığını ifade etmek için kullanılır.

Wh- questions:What (ne), when (ne zaman), who (kim ), where (nerede), why (niçin ) Which (hangi) what kind of (ne tür), how (nasıl), how often (ne sıklıkta) gibi soru kelimeleriyle sorulan sorular. Bu tür sorular, doğrudan bilgi verilerek cevaplandırılır. Yani bu tür sorulara Yes /No (Evet/Hayır) ile cevap verilemez .

2.Yes / No Sorular: Bu tür sorular genellikle “do/ does”, “ did ”, “am/is/ are ”, “ was / were ” gibi yardımcı fiiller cümlenin en başına getirilerek sorulur. Bu tür soruların Türkçedeki karşılığı soru eki “…mi? ” ile sorulan sorulardır . Bu sorulara genellikle “ Yes /No” ile cevap verilir.

(Futbola ilgi duymuyorum , bu yüzden sizinle maça gelmek istemem. ) BUT / HOWEVER “But” ve “ However ” ifadeleri “fakat, ama” anlamına gelir. Birbirine zıt cümleler arasında zıtlığı belirtmek için kullanılır.
