License Description: Athletic Trainers must be licensed by the Idaho Board of Medicine to practice. To qualify for licensure athletic trainers must: 1.) Graduate with a bachelor\'s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university; 2.) Pass a National certification exam; 3.) Submit two certificates of professional recommendation; 4.) Work under the supervision of a licensed directing Physician. Term: Licenses can be renewed annually or bi-annually.
