In China, extreme poverty dropped from 60% in 1990 to 16% in 2005 and 12% in 2010

In Madagascar, extreme poverty dropped from 76.3% in 2001 to 67.8% in 2005 before rising to 81.3% in 2010In Nicaragua, extreme hunger dropped from 55.1% in 1991 to 47.7% in 2005 and 21.5% in 2010
