OMG!! The leaves are starting to change!!! And we all know what that means…It means some of the best riding is upon usAA Cool crisp morning air, warm afternoons, hot apple pie, it seems like the bikes run so well in the fall. Not to mention bon fires, the camaraderie of good friends, the beautiful fall colors, MAN I LOVE THE FALL!! But it also signals that soon we will be putting the bikes away for another season. That doesn’t mean the fun has to stop, still to come is the Holiday HOP December 6 th at —The Steak House Restaurant” on the Barre Montpelier Road. Make sure you sign up to attend as I would love to see all of you there!! If you have never been to a Holiday HOP you don’t know what you are missingAA Another item for the very near future is October will be the first round of nominations for the 2016 slate of officers. How have we/i done this year? Let us/me know, especially if you didn’t like something. Or get involved; being an officer is both a challenge and very rewarding experience. Till then Get Up, Get Out and Enjoy what the fall riding season has to offer. Regards, Brion Director Update - Brion Muzzy ZIRMED INC AUGUST 2015 VOLUME 28, ISSUE 8 Vee - Twin Rumblings Newsletter of the Central Vermont H.O.G. Where did the summer go? Not to worry there is plenty of great riding ahead of us; just a personal note my favorite time of the year to ride is in the fall. The Iron Adventure Run has come and gone and a few of us made it down to Sturbridge, Massachusetts to check it out. Maybe you’ve already heard but the Rally Committee announced that for 2016 the Rally was com- ing back to VT. I would love to see our Chapter take an active role in the Rally next year. In the next couple of weeks I will be reaching out to the committee, In order to see what role our Chapter could fill next year. I will share more details next month. At the beginning of this year many of our members signed up for an Experienced Rider Class in N. Haver- hill, NH. It seemed to be a success and the feedback I got was good. For spring of 2016 I am working on get- ting a class set up this time in VT, hopefully Berlin train- ing facility. Lastly, I wanted to mention something we are going to try at our Septem- ber meeting. We are asking for anyone and everyone to bake their favorite goodie, bread, rolls, cake, pie, etc. etc. bring it to the meeting in a dish/ pan you don't need back. One by one we will auction it off to the highest bidder.( Rumor has it your assistant director LOVES BROWNIES.) We are doing this as a fund raiser for the Chapter, if you like this let us know maybe it can become a yearly event. Hope everyone is getting some great riding in, take care hope to see you all at the next meeting. Until then ride hard, ride long, but ride safe. Justen Asst. Director Update - Justen Elliott Asst.
