Hebrews brings outthe Glory of the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ as Son of God, and then brings out the glori-ous work that He accomplished when He came into the world to do His Fathers will.Thus the word effulgence in this sense means the glorious and infinite Godhead glory andfullness of the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. His glory and effulgence will beseen in this world when the Lord Jesus returns with His blood-bought bride, to take His right-ful place as King ruling over the world. His bride are those who during the past 2,000 years(after His resurrection) have believed in Him by faith, owning Him as their personal Lord andSaviour who died to wash away their sins in His own precious blood.
