Mount Olive Township Public Schools Winter 2016 RESULTS The Mount Olive schools use the STAR 360 exam to measure EnglishLanguage Arts and Math academic gains for students in grades 1 8 The assessments are designed to identify areas of accomplishment in each students by systematically increasing the difficulty of questions asked for each question a student answers correctly For each wrong answer the assessment system adjusts question difficulty a bit lower The pattern of correct responses are then compared to all others responding to the same examinations nationwide to compute a percentile ranking.
