The Vision of House of Israel to be 1. A Worshipping People (4 th Gospel 4:23-24) 2. An Evangelistic Community (Acts 2:42-47)

3. A Discipleship Center (Matthew 28:19) 4. An Equipping Network (Ephesians 4:12) 5. And a Worldwide Witness for Yeshua The Messiah (Acts 1:8)

Declaration for Yehovah’s Blessings I declare this is my season for Peace, Power, Promises and Prosperity! I declare the Peace of Yehovah in my life and in my body! I declare the Power of Yehovah to manifest fully in my life! I declare the Promises of Yehovah fulfilled in my life! I declare the Prosperity of Yehovah to permeate every area of my life! And I declare I will walk in Obedience to Yehovah every day of my life!

A Prophetic Utterance For Our Time After you have had children and grandchildren and have lived in the land a long time-- if you then become corrupt and make any kind of idol, doing evil in the eyes of Yahuwah your Elohim and provoking him to anger, I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you this day that you will quickly perish from the land that you are crossing the Yarden to possess. You will not live there long but will certainly be destroyed. Yahuwah will scatter you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive among the nations to which Yahuwah will drive you. There you will worship man-made gods of wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell . ( Devarim 4:25-28)

A Prophetic Utterance But if from there you seek Yahuwah your Elohim, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to Yahuwah your Elohim and obey him. For Yahuwah your Elohim is a merciful Elohim; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which he confirmed to them by oath. ( Devarim 4:29-31)

What to Expect as You Search For and Enter Into Bible Truth How to Navigate Through the Common Mistakes People Make in the Hebrew Roots Way

Tips for Navigating The Persecution and Rejection You Feel From Those Not Ready The Lonely Walk The Anger Reflex The Temptation to Beat Down Christianity Balancing Spirit and Truth Torah Only Studies Diminishing of Yahusha Trashing Paul and the New Testament Writings The Trap of Messianic Judaism and Their Traditions Getting Your Information from Rabbinical Sources Endless Genealogies – Knowing Your Identity Supporting the State of Israel The Pitfall of the Names Games Derailment of Your Focus By Far Out Theories Change-Lust

The Persecution and Rejection You Feel From Those Not Ready The first thing we want to do when we have discovered Bible truth is to share it. This comes at a price.

Yeshua Felt Rejected He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him . (Isaiah 53:3)

Being Like the Master "Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name . (Matthew 24:9) "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first . (4 th Gospel 15:18) You must be doing something right if you are experiencing what the Master went through

Filling Up Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church . (Colossians 1:24 NIV)

What to Remember You are attacking a long held believe system. Most people are extremely resistant to challenges of the things they have held to dearly all their lives. Give time for the Spirit to bring convincing and convicting

The Lonely Walk The second thing that will happen to you when you embrace Truth is that you will either voluntarily leave the people that reject you and your message, or you will be given the left foot of disfellowship .

You Were Called to be Set-Apart Speak to the entire assembly of Yisrael and say to them: 'Be holy because I, Yahuwah your Elohim, am holy. ( Vayiqra [Leviticus] 19:2 ) The set apart life can be a lonely life. But its pleasing to Abba.

The Anger Reflex Like the stages of loss of loved ones, anger will likely overtake you because of the lies that you were fed all your life. Yahuwah , my strength and my stronghold, And my refuge in the day of distress, To You the nations will come From the ends of the earth and say, "Our fathers have inherited nothing but falsehood, Futility and things of no profit ." (Jeremiah 16:19) Don’t dwell in anger because you were deceived by people you trusted Be angry but sin not. This anger can negatively affect your testimony.

The Temptation to Beat Down Christianity They got a lot of things wrong and twisted … Is Christianity the Babylon of today? Is Jesus the “other Yeshua ” Paul wrote about? But you probably came into faith because of them. Elohim used that imperfect vessel to draw you into fellowship with him. You were once there in your walk and Yahuwah d id not reject you when you were there

How to Share Your Faith But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander . (1 Peter 3:15-16 NIV)

Balancing Spirit and Truth With this new found understanding of Torah as Truth comes the common mistake of abandoning the work of the Spirit. We think we have all we need in the Instructions of the Law of Moses. But… “spiritual things are spiritually discerned”

Remember the purpose for the spirit to be given in the New Covenant A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them . (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

Torah Only Studies The Torah is our righteousness! " So the LORD commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God for our good always and for our survival, as it is today. " It will be righteousness for us if we are careful to observe all this commandment before the LORD our God, just as He commanded us .” ( Devarim [Deuteronomy] 6:24-25 NIV)

Romans 8:1-4 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Diminishing of Yahusha Is he less than what we were taught in the Christian churches? Did he really create all things 4 th Gospel 1:1-4 Colossians 1:13-22, and more Who is Yahusha ? Isn’t he the prophet like Mosheh ? The seed of Abraham. The offspring of David who rules.

The Only Begotten Son Yahusha is the only begotten son (4 th Gospel 3:16) “Begotten” has to do with human birth. A Son comes from the seed of a father. Yahusha is Elohim coming to us in human flesh. (4 th Gospel 1:14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Trashing Paul and the New Testament Writings Paul seems to be against Elohim’s Law Paul seems to present a different Gospel Paul seems to be elevating a lawless Jesus Jesus doesn’t fit the expectation of Messiah Jesus seems to be transgressing the Sabbath Jesus couldn’t get along with the Pharisees, et al (they are the experts after all) The Torah and the Prophets are reliable, but….

Peter’s Opinion of Paul Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore , dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position . (2 Peter 3:15-17 NIV)

Trash or Treasure? It is a mistake to disregard Paul’s contributions to our understanding of the redemption brought by Yahusha . It would be tragic to throw out all of the New Testament, because the NT is our only testimony (thus, “testament”) of the ministry and mission of the Master. We would have no information except second and third hand accounts of the life of Yahusha .

The Trap of Messianic Judaism and Their Traditions What is the Messianic Movement? What is Hebrew Roots? What is the Christian Roots Movement? What is Messianic Judaism?

Trading Religions Warnings against swapping religious affiliations From Babylonian Paganism (Christianity) to Babylonian Legalism (Judaism) From antinomianism (no law) to man made legal system

The Problem with Man Made Legalism Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me ; (Matthew 15:1-5)

The Problem with Man Made Legalism And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free . Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men . (Matthew 15:6-9)

The Problem with Pharisees, et al For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments (Matthew 23:4-5)

The Problem with Pharisees, et al But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves , neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. (Matthew 23:13-15 KJV)

The Problem with Pharisees, et al Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor! Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? And , Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty. Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon. And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon . (Matthew 23:16-22 KJV)

Being called “Rabbi” "Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long; they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them 'Rabbi.' "But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers . (Matthew 23:5-8)

Getting Your Information from Rabbinical Sources The Talmud has two components: the Mishnah (Hebrew: משנה , c. 200 CE), a written compendium of Rabbinic Judaism's Oral Torah; and the Gemara (c. 500 CE), an elucidation of the Mishnah and related Tannaitic writings that often ventures onto other subjects and expounds broadly on the Hebrew Bible. "Talmud" translates literally as "instruction" in Hebrew, and the term may refer to either the Gemara alone, or the Mishnah and Gemara together.

Talmud The entire Talmud consists of 63 tractates, and in standard print is over 6,200 pages long. It is written in Tannaitic Hebrew and Jewish Babylonian Aramaic and contains the teachings and opinions of thousands of rabbis (dating from before the Common Era through the fifth century CE) on a variety of subjects, including Halakha (law), Jewish ethics, philosophy, customs, history, lore and many other topics. The Talmud is the basis for all codes of Jewish law, and is widely quoted in rabbinic literature .

Getting Your Information from Those Who Do Not Acknowledge Yahusha ( Yeshua ) as Messiah Warning Warning Danger Danger You will be getting a skewed view of the Scriptures They won’t tell you how their interpretation confirms Yahusha as the Prophet like Mosheh They will use their expertise in Hebrew to convince you Yahusha was not the Messiah

Endless Genealogies – Knowing Your Identity But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain . (Titus 3:7 KJV)

No Vain Jangling! Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do . Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling ; (1 Timothy 1:4-6)

But What About YOUR Genealogy? But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God . (4 th Gospel 1:12-13) 3:16 whosoever

Who Are You, Anyway? But as Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit . (Ephesians 2:19-22)

The Mystery of Messiah This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 3:6 KJV) WE ARE ISRAEL!

Supporting the State of Israel Don’t make the mistake of thinking that because we are Israel that we should be supporting the State of Israel. Who is this that so many Messianics are supporting? Why are Messianics giving their money and support to a people who despise our Messiah Yahusha ? We shouldn’t hate them. But we shouldn’t prop them up. The Jews hate the “anti-missionaries” – those who are turning some away from Jewish traditions and beliefs to the Christian Jesus.

Supporting Widows and Orphans James 1:27 1 Timothy 5:3-16

The Pitfall of the Names Games The LORD or Yahweh or Yehovah or Yahuwah? Jesus or Yeshua or Yahusha or Yehoshua ? What’s the problem? Why do some Messianics insist that they are right and you are wrong? Arguing about the correct pronunciation of the Names is a point of ridicule by our detractors.

Derailment of Your Focus By Far Out Theories Theories about the new moon Theories about when a day begins Theories about the biblical calendar Theories debating a spherical or flat earth To what extent should believers be involved in the political process? Who is the Antichrist?

Change-Lust – A Desire to Find More and More Reasons to Believe Differently Don’t be quick to dismiss as false everything you learned in the church. Not everything they believe is wrong. And not everything you hear in the Messianic assemblies is right. Sometimes zealous people want to change everything they were taught to believe.

What Shall We Say to All These Things? Don’t believe everything you hear on the internet. Don’t believe everything a Messianic teacher tells you. Don’t be gullible. Examine everything. Be a Berean believer. Do what Yahusha did and you will be in a good place.

B 7 Dear friends,
