Officer Rules of ConductADHERENCE TO LAW:New Orleans Police Department requires its employees to follow local, state and federal law

New Orleans Police Department requires its employees to be courteous, civil, and respectful to all people.TRUTHFULNESS:
NOPD’s employee rules require NOPD employees to be truthful at all times.
UNAUTHORIZED FORCE:
NOPD dictates that its employees shall not use or direct unjustifiable physical abuse, violence, force, or intimidation against any person.
