(Davey walking out on stage, seemingly nervous and a bit in shock; shaking hand of interviewer and sitting down quickly)Interviewer: (speaking enthusiastically) Davey! Your story has been all over the news. You’re famous! How does that make you feel?Davey: (nervously, looking down) Well, actually, I’m not really sh-sh-sure. It’s been a lot to process. Don’t downplay your horrific experience! (turning to According to the experts, (glancing down at his notes) and I quote: “when the sun shines through the warm top layer of ocean, all of the shark’s senses are alive. Its eyes scan the water and its ears listen for rhythms. It smells the water constantly with powerful nostrils that have nothing to do with breathing, and aren’t even connected to its mouth!” (looking back at Davey) My goodness! Even if you were in the water, over one thousand metres away, that shark could already taste you! With odds like those, it’s amazing you’re even sitting here with all of us! (turning audience and proclaiming) Folks, we have a REAL hero here!Davey: I KNOW what you want! You want a sensational story! Well, here you go: There WAS a “no swimming” sign, but I ignored it.
