Students may sta in their rooms over break without any charges Most campus offices will close at 5:00pm Wed. 11/2 and reopen on Mon. 1 2/2 CAMPUS SAFETY The Office of Campus Safety remains open 24/7. Telephone: 610.896.1111 Campus Safety recommends that all valuable articles such as computers be stored in HIGH SECURITY STORAGE located in their office in the (GIAC). You may bring your articles there M F, 9:00am 3:30pm. All articles must be boxed and clearly marked with your name an d year. Articles may be picked up after the break Sunday between 5:00pm and 7:00pm, M F, 9:00am 3:30pm. Please note: The College accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any damage to or loss of student property, wherever it is located. The College will not honor claims made against it for damage or loss and strongly recommends that personal property is adequately insured by students. If you live at HCA, and everyone in your apt. will be away, Campus Safety recommends that you call the office and as k for the deadlock to be put on. The first resident back must call to have the deadlock removed. Reminder: THE COLLEGE'S PARKING REGULATIONS are enforced 24/7 throughout the academic year, including break periods. Please do not park in areas reserved fo r faculty & staff during normal business hours as staff will be working regular hours during the Fall B reak. HC DINING SERVICES Closes after lunch at 2:00pm on Wednesday, Nov. 2 . Available from 9:00 am 2:00pm on Wed ., Nov. 27 is the Boxed Lunch Meal buffet for students wanting a meal to take with them. Please note: There is no meal exchange with BMC Dining unless both Dining Serv ices are in operation. FACILITIES MANAGEMENT CHECK LIST Whether you leave or stay, make sure you close and lock your windows and your room and entrance doors when you are not in your room/suite. If you are leaving campus, please close windows, draw shades, and turn out all lights to help conserve energy. HCA residents, please turn thermostats down to 55 degrees. If possible, please turn your refrigerator back to the lowest setting. HAVERFORD TRAIN STATION PICK UPS SUNDAY EVENING DEC. 1 ONLY , the Tri Co van will be used to pick up students at the Haverford train station. The first pickup will be made at 6:45pm on the Westbound (outgoing) side of the station; the next pickup will be an hour later, at 7:45pm, continuing each hour until 11:45pm, which will be the last run. The van will enter Haverford's campus at the Lancaster Avenue entrance and will drop students of f, as requested, at the following locations: At the junction of College Lane & Coursey Road by Barclay At the SE corner of South Lot by the path to the HCA trail On Walton Road between Gummere and Leeds At junction of Carter & Harris Roads for the North Dorms TRAIN STATION PICK UPS Campus Safety will pick up students at the Haverford or Ardmore Stations (R5) or the Haverford Station ( R100 High Speed Line) any evening only if it is after dark and the student is alone. Dining Services close on Friday , December , after lunch, with the option to take boxed meals away Semester II Residence halls reopen for semester II on Sunday, January 19 , 201 @10:00am Please note: The residence halls open two days before the start of classes to allow for travel and schedules.
