CONCLUSIONS

Mutendele ward 30 does not have industries. Though it has sufficient enterprises were people seek for employment. As a result there is too much of unemployment and other surrounding areas such as, kalikiliki, PHI, kabulonga

and many other surrounding areas.

The

few enterprises and other small industries in existence are concentrated on the

western

part of the ward. Creating a vacuum on the other parts of the ward.

Slide26

According to my research findings on the evaluation of the Sixth National Development Plan indicators (SNDP) it is very clear that, there is great need of putting more efforts in the implementation of SNDP goals strategies.

This means that the Zambian government needs to allocate more resources to the development of townships and putting up industries to open ways for emplyoment than it is currently allocating. The budget must form a bigger percentage of the nation’s GDP for any real and sustained impact to be realized.
