Executive Summary IMPORTSPAN, S.A. its a Family owned Company, founded in 2007 to supply the Panamanian market with thrustworthy products at reasonable prices. The company was re-launched in the middle of last year (2020) after 5 years of minimun operation since the President of the Company was working in a separate Project. New lines of business were created, reactivated operations from an administrative point of view and made our 1st sale after re-launch in the month of October. Company Description We specialize in Imports of general products supporting Private Enterprises and Government entities. Our Lines of Business cover the Industrial, Construction, Mining, and Maritime sectors. Offering includes urgent delivery of goods from the US and Consulting in Finance and Materials Management. Market Analysis The economy should gradually recover in 2021 from this year’s Covid-19-induced contraction, as the easing of restrictions provides room for a rebound in domestic activity and tourism. Potentially weak global trade ensuing from further restrictions abroad clouds the outlook. FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists foresee the economy expanding 6.4% in 2021, which is up 0.6 percentage points from last month’s forecast. For 2022, the economy is seen growing 5.1%. Our clients include the Panama Ca, Min Panama and Shiphandlers (last 2 client´s sales done through a middle man which also do our wharehousing for inventories) which are closely related to the overall growth of the Republic of Panama so there is potential to increase our sales for 2021 at least by 6.4%.
