slide2. In the past one year the status of IMA has risen.
This is directly due to the united struggle we have waged.
The future of IMA will depend on how IMA handles this responsibility.<br>
slide3. We should do everything in our power to deserve this new found status and sustain ourselves as a major National player in Health.
This requires all round strengthening of IMA’s functioning right from the local branch level to IMA HQs.<br>
slide4. To achieve credibility at the National and International stages we have to structure transparency and accountability in Indian Medical Association.
We require institutional mechanism on Fiscal discipline and auditing of International quality.
Branding of IMA is an absolute need to gain visibility.<br>
slide5. For this to happen IMA should move from being person centric to process centric. Internal administration of IMA has to have defined guidelines and protocols.
In other words it should move away from subjective mode to an objective mode.<br>
slide6. Professional management of the office would empower IMA to withstand the challenges of time.<br>
slide7. Likewise IMA should be the voice of voiceless and comfortably discharge its responsibility as the political leader in Health.<br>
slide8. IMA should be able to imbibe the aspiration of youth and provide leadership positions to the young and women.<br>
slide9. New challenges on National and international arena beckon IMA. We will fulfil the expectations.<br>
