No price change noticeable for users → exchange rate from last year 1EUR=~1CHF
Rare gases and thier mixes price increase by factor 6: Xenon, Krypton
Critical situation → HELIUM
Situation with CF4 and R-gases → stablized
CF4 → alternative supplier found for urgent needs; stock made
R-gases → stock made for the next 2 years*

War in Ukraine and sanctions against Russia shorten big quantity of the expected product, in particular “Amur” facility in Russia
Algeria sources have a reduced production
BLM was stopped and is decreasing in quantities
The product from Qatar (3 helium plants) does not come anymore to Europe
Other customers have seen their helium deliveries already reduced
Priority for this moment goes to medical applications (i.e. for cooling of MRI machines)
Suppliers confirmed no avaliability
of helium and increase of prices

AMBER: ~20l/h continuous
GIFF++: small amount for chromatograph (2xmonth)
NA61: 10m3/week
AD Hall (B193): ~3-4 banks/month
ATLAS (B3170): ~1 bank/month
Other users: <1 bank/month
Qantity needed: max → 11-12 banks/month; min → 2-3 banks/month
Avalibale : 2 banks/month + 4 btl/month
Decrease in quality does not improve the avaliability
Recovery with TE Departement – in progress
only 4 banks avaliable with reduced pressure of ~150bars instead of standard 300bars

R-GASES:
Stock of R134A made for the next 2 years

2. I need gas supply, but no connection is needed
Fill the template and in GAS SECTION define your gas. Two choices :
A: General gas supply : argon / helium / nitrogen / CO2
B: Gas or mix from the list

3. I need gas supply and connection to be done
