Telemedicine: Remote healthcare services that allow patients to receive care without visiting a clinic. Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS): Data-driven tools that help clinicians make decisions about patient care. Health Information Exchange (HIE): Secure systems that allow healthcare providers to share medical data Public Health Informatics: The use of IT to track public health trends, prevent disease, and educate the public Wearable Devices: Health monitoring devices that track a patient's health data Genomics: The use of genetic data to personalize treatment plans Mobile Health Apps: Health services that can be accessed on mobile devices Indian Standards for Health Informatics Electronic Health Record - IS/ISO/TR 20514 : 2005 Describes a pragmatic classification of electronic health records, provides simple definitions for the main categories of EHR and provides supporting descriptions of the characteristics of electronic health records and record systems. Point-of-Care Medical Device Communication - IS/ISO/IEEE 11073-10201 : 2020 Defines a general object-oriented information model that may be used to structure information and identify services used in point-of-care (POC) medical device communications. Genomic Sequence Variation Markup Language (GSVML) - IS 17887 : 2022/ ISO 25720 : 2009 Applicable to the data exchange format that is designed to facilitate the exchange of the genomic sequence variation data around the world, without forcing change of any database schema.
