slide5. 5 Clinical research uses a focused and organized approach for data collection and analysis, carefully planned before the project starts, and features elements such as:<br>
slide6. 6 Other Examples of Clinical Research include: Activities designed with the intention to develop or add to generalizable knowledge are intended to draw broad conclusions, influence policy, or apply findings beyond an individual or internal program.
A study crafted to develop or contribute to generalizable knowledge purposefully connects to, applies, or expands upon existing knowledge. The methods enable replication and comparisons with data collected from different samples of the same population, and the findings are applicable to people beyond those directly studied.<br>

In clinical practice, established treatments are used while in clinical research data or evidence is collected to establish or modify a treatment. Clinical Research is a branch of healthcare that determines the safety and effectiveness of medications, medical devices, diagnostic products and treatment regimens intended for human use.
These may be used for prevention, treatment, diagnosis or for relieving symptoms of a disease.
However, it’s important to note that clinical research is different from clinical practice.<br>
