About the Organization Transparency International is a non-governmental, non-profit organization (NGO) with operations in about 100 countries, headquartered in Berlin (Secretariat) TI is a loose movement in which member organizations – after being accredited in every 3 years – are financially and professionally independent from the Berlin headquarters The Hungarian section was founded in 2006, its current Executive Director, has been József Péter Martin since 2013 TI Hungary’s number of employees: 7 Number of members of TI Hungary’s Board: 5 persons (Zoltán Nagy, Chair; Krisztina Arató, Gábor Gadó, József Steff, Ágnes Urbán); Number of members of TI Hungary’s Supervisory Board: 3 persons (Péter Ákos Bod, Chair; Dávid Jancsics; Júlia Király); The work of TI Hungary is regularly assisted by volunteers, interns and external professionals The Organization Mitigating all forms of corruption and promoting transparency and accountability in the public sphere as well as in the business sector.
