Module XVIII - Decommissioning INTRODUCTION Aspects of decommissioning typically include: Planning for decommissioning, Conducting decommissioning actions and Terminating the authorization. Aspects of decommissioning have to be considered throughout all five major stages of the lifetime of a nuclear facility (siting, construction, commissioning, operation and decommissioning).
