Businesses and educational systems should work together to better prepare current students and future students for jobs of the future. Our educational systems need to be designed to quickly adjust based on rapidly changing workforce needs. Advances in technology are accelerating, yet we are teaching the same way we did decades ago. Research Methodology Future research: What is the most effective approach to engage business and educational leaders? Do we have any educational systems (i.e school districts/colleges/universities) in the state that are doing this well? If so, what are they doing? Other states that are doing innovative and effective work in this area? Potential Overlap It seems that even inside this committee, the subcommittees have some overlap in the “why,” ideas/possible solutions
