Parenteral powders preparations consisting of solid, loose, dry particles of varying degrees of fine particle size that contain one or more active substances, with or without excipients.

Difficult to protect containing hygroscopic, deliquescent, or aromatic materials from decomposition.
Uniform, Individually rapped doses of powder are required and this may increase the manufacturing expense.
Homogeneous mixture of all dose is required other than drug influences the rate of bioavailability.<br>
