Wood Types Natural wood is wood that is straight off of the tree, cut into various shapes, like planks, lumber, slats, scantlings and veneer.  Man made wood consists of natural wood fibres, chips, slices off of a log making a thin slice like veneer, or wood particles of various sizes including sawdust that are usually stuck together using special glues, heat, and pressure. What are the differences between man made and natural wood? Knowledge Different Angles for different shaped boxes 90° 45° 60° 8 edges to join
45° x 8 = 360° 12 edges to join
30° x 12 = 360° What are Coniferous and Deciduous trees?
Coniferous means 'cone bearing,' and these are trees that have cones, like pine trees. Most conifers are considered evergreens, because they never lose their leaves and are 'forever green,' regardless of the season. Deciduous trees, on the other hand, lose their leaves each year. What is Laser Cutting?
Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to cut materials, and is used for industrial manufacturing applications, in schools, small businesses, and hobbyists. Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser onto a material that is guided by a drawing using Computer aided Design (CAD)<br>
