3. Annuity and the 4 available optionsAn annuity is a life long pension that ensures for the annuitant a guaranteed1 and regular income stream for life. 2313

4. Single Life:Life Time Annuity The annuity will be payable at uniform rate in arrears for the life of the annuitant. On the death of the annuitant, the annuity payments will cease and no further amount will be payable.Single Life:Life Time Annuity with ROP The annuity will be payable at uniform rate in arrears for the life of the annuitant. On the death of the annuitant, the annuity payments will cease and we will pay to the annuitant’s nominee the 100% of the purchase price(net of statutory levies)Annuity and the 4 available optionsJoint Life:Life Time Annuity with 100% Annuity to Secondary Annuitant and 100% ROP The annuity will be payable in arrears so long as at least one of the two annuitants is alive. On the death of the primary annuitant, secondary annuitant will receive 100% of original annuity throughout life. On death of the last survivor, 100% of the purchase price is returned to the nominee. Joint Life:Life Time Annuity with 100% Annuity to Secondary Annuitant The annuity will be payable in arrears so long as at least one of the two annuitants is alive. On the death of the primary annuitant, secondary annuitant will receive 100% of original annuity throughout life. On death of the last survivor, Purchase price is NOT returned to the nominee.

6. 6Service Excellence Life certificate is required in following scenarios:Life Plan - Require life certificate every year.ROP - Require life certificate every three year completion. However company may call for above document in between. Filled up form can be sent by the customer by mentioning their policy no to service@hdfclife.com, annuitysupport@hdfclife.com from their registered email id. Alternatively they can choose to submit the same to any of the HDFC LIfe Branches.

Post Policy Set-upPresence post policy setup:As post retirement needs can be individual specific, a strong PAN India branch presence of more than 800+ branches catering to even Tier 2 cities and a robust online support system will aid in providing prompt and effective support as it is extremely important to ensure a hassle free pension post retirement. 8. Post Policy Set-upFurther, some common queries: Survival Certificate requirement frequency : Annually for Life Annuity option and once in three years for other annuity options. The scanned copy of the survival certificate in a particular format can be shared from the registered email id of the customer to our service id as per the frequencies mentioned. Process for changing bank account details : For changing the bank account details for receiving annuity, customer use ‘My Account’ or ensure request is sent from the registered email id to service@hdfclife.comVideo Calling. Life certificate can be submitted through Video Calling which would be provided through a link https://life99.in/register/4d9d7996b42ee6e24e8e4e77d37122b81c4ea02e( SAIL Customized Life99 Link) Retirees can also access their pension statement also by registering though above link Visit to Branch :Alternatively, customer can visit the nearest Branch also. For other policy servicing requests, customer has the option to either utilize the My Account portal or visit our Branch. Dedicated Email id Dedicated Service id where member can reach out to in case of a query : service@hdfclife.com Details change : Process for change in address, contact number or nominee details: Customer can use the ‘My Account’ portal to change these details and upload the relevant documentation mentioned. Alternatively, email from the registered mail id can be sent to the service id for such change in details. Are servicing requests valid if the mail is received from registered email id or the member has to visit the branch for servicing? : Majority of the servicing requests are allowed from customer's registered email ID or through My Account portal.
