I dedicate this story to my buddies, Lucas and Will. I had a great time in Play Group with you two! I especially enjoyed building houses with the Lincoln Logs. I will miss you two a lot! Slide3
One day Will and Lucas were sitting at home on a rainy day.
“I’m bored,” said Will.
“Me, too,” agreed Lucas. Slide4
“I want to do something fun!” exclaimed Will. While Will and Lucas were wishing the rain would go away, their friends, Erin and Miss Lauren, walked into the room. Slide5
“Hi guys!” said Erin.
“Hi Lucas! Hi Will!” Miss Lauren said excitedly. “Hey Erin! Hey Miss Lauren! Do you want to play?” questioned Will. “Yeah! Let’s be explorers!” suggested Erin. Slide6
Lucas, Will, Erin, and Miss Lauren started pretending to be explorers.Slide7
While Lucas, Will, Erin, and Miss Lauren were playing, they decided to become astronauts.
“Let’s go into the closet! That will be our spaceship!” said Will excitedly. Slide8
The four friends got into their spaceship. “3, 2, 1,... BLAST OFF!” Slide9
Once Lucas, Will, Erin, and Miss Lauren made it to space, they put on their spacesuits and got ready to go explore. Slide10
“
Whoooaaaaa!” exclaimed Will and Miss Lauren! “We’re in space!” said Erin and Lucas excitedly. The four of them jumped out of the spaceship and floated around space. Slide11
“Look there’s the moon!” pointed out Will. The four friends floated over to the moon together. They started walking all over the moon. Slide12
Once they finished walking on the moon, they decided to go back to the spaceship to eat some pizza for lunch. Slide13
Once they finished eating the four friends decided it was time to head back to Earth. “3, 2, 1,… BLAST OFF!” Slide14
When the four of them returned back to Earth, they opened the door from the closet and ended up back in Lucas’ and Will’s living room where Will’s and Lucas’ mom was standing. Slide15
“You four were in that closet for a long time! What were you doing in there?” questioned Mom.
“We went to space!” yelled Lucas! “We even walked on the moon!” Will chimed in.

It was time for Erin and Miss Lauren to go home, and Lucas and Will to go to bed. They exchanged goodbyes together. Slide17
“That was so fun!” said Will.
“Yeah! It was!” agreed Lucas. Lucas and Will said goodnight to their family and went to bed.

The next day Will went on another adventure only this time he went to the ocean to swim with the dolphins!

About the Author My name is Miss Lauren, and I am a junior at Hamilton High School. I have a twin brother named Andrew, a dog named Libby, and a cat named Sophie. I participate in three varsity sports here at Hamilton, golf, basketball, and softball. I also really enjoy traveling and doing outdoor activities.
