Box Hill May Half Term Activity Week 2015 – what’s going on?

Every day activities: (no charge unless stated) - ‘50 Things’ tent and adventures: 12 stations sign-posted around Box Hill to kick start your exploring this summer! Small crafts for the kids - Den Building Village: build your own den for the summer, and expand the village! - Walk with a Ranger: A guided walk around Box Hill, providing a deeper understanding of the unique nature we have here, whether you’re a new or seasoned visitor (number dependant, £3 on day) - Orchid Trail – for the little ones! A fun and engaging trail for the pioneering nature lovers (£2.50 on day)

Baretech Box Hill with Momentum Parkour: When: All week, variable times/ages – see website Where: Follow signs in car park & on Donkey GreenPre-bookable - visit www.momentumcommunity.co.uk/baretechboxhill What’s it about? Challenge yourself to master different elements of free running in our woods with professional Parkour coaches who can teach you how to move in the quickest and most adrenaline fuelled way. Build confidence, push yourself physically and learn new ways to traverse obstacles!Cost: £12 for 2 hour session . Discounts available for repeat bookings throughout the weekAge range: 7 & upwards

Woodcraft Day:

When: Tuesday 26th May, 10am – 3pm Where: ‘50 Things’ tent outside café Pre-bookable – No, just turn up on the day!What’s it about? Box Hill Ranger David and his splinter group of volunteers will be guiding interested kids (and adults!) in the art of making small wooden crafts, animals and trinketsCost: Free, donations welcomeAge range: Infants upwards, family friendly

Day: When: Friday 29th 10 – 3pmWhere: Donkey Green, & ‘50 Things’ tent outside café Pre-bookable – No, just turn up on the day!What’s it about? Using just the nature of Box Hill, an on-going group effort throughout the day will create huge mandalas on our Donkey Green. Get as creative as possible using only nature for both materials and influence!Cost: Free, donations welcomeAge range: Infants upwards, family friendly

Crafts & wide games: When: Monday 25th May, 10am – 3pm Where: Donkey Green & ‘50 Things’ tent outside café Pre-bookable – No, just turn up on the day! What’s it about? We are starting the week with crafts, mask making, and wide games on the Donkey Green – when the masses come, fun shall be had! Cost: Free, donations welcome Age range: Infants upwards, family friendly
