REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSING: Personal requirements: 1) Be at least 18 years old. 2) Be a U.S. citizen, a U.S. national, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. Educational and experience requirements: Be certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). EXAMINATIONS: National Certification exam for Occupational Therapy Assistants. FEES: In 2021, pay $279 (application $50, license $86, compliance resolution fund $100, 1/2 renewal $43).
